Preparation
How to prepare for the GRE
Vocabulary needs months, not weeks
Verbal is where most Indian students lose points, and vocabulary cannot be crammed. Start three months out with daily word work.
Quant is easy, but the traps are not
The mathematics is high-school level, so the difficulty sits in question wording. Practise reading carefully rather than revising formulas.
You can skip and return
Within a section you may mark and revisit questions. Never lose four minutes on one problem when three easier ones remain unread.
ScoreSelect lets you choose
You control which test dates universities see, so a weak first attempt need not follow your application.
