Preparation
How to prepare for the SAT
The first module sets your ceiling
Each section is adaptive across two modules. Performance in the first determines the difficulty — and the score ceiling — of the second.
Test-optional does not mean test-irrelevant
Many universities that dropped the requirement still use strong scores for merit scholarships. A good score can be worth real money.
Passages are short now
The digital SAT uses short passages with one question each. Practising on old long-passage papers prepares you for a test that no longer exists.
Start in class 11
It gives you time for two or three attempts before applications, and superscoring means universities take your best section scores across dates.
